1. Our Commitment

SizaPoint is built on one rule: you remain the author. Our tools are designed to support your thinking, structure, and skill development — not to produce work for you to submit unchanged.

2. What SizaPoint Is — and Isn't

• SizaPoint is a workspace that helps you plan, structure, check, and improve your own academic work.
• SizaPoint is not a ghost-writing service, and using it to submit unedited AI output as your own original work may breach your institution's academic integrity policy.

3. Your Responsibility as the Author

You are responsible for reviewing, understanding, and taking ownership of anything you submit for assessment, and for following your own institution's rules on permitted use of AI tools — these vary by course, department, and institution, and it's your responsibility to know them.

4. Integrity Check

Our Integrity Check feature gives you an AI-signal estimate on a document, so you can see how a piece of writing might read and revise it in your own voice before submitting. It is a self-review aid, not a certification of originality accepted by any institution or integrity-detection vendor.

5. Referencing and Citation Support

Our citation tools help you format references consistently across common styles (APA, Harvard, MLA, IEEE, and Vancouver). You remain responsible for verifying that every source you cite is genuine, accurately represented, and properly attributed.

6. Document Formatting and Fixing

Document Studio and our other document tools help you correct formatting, structure, headings, numbering, captions, citations, references, and consistency. They assist with the presentation and quality of your work — they do not write it for you, and they are not a guarantee that your document meets a particular institution's requirements.

You remain responsible for reviewing every change, for the items the tool flags for your review, and for confirming that the corrected document complies with your university, faculty, supervisor, journal, or assessment requirements before you submit it.

7. Institutional Policies Take Precedence

Where your institution's policy on AI tool use is stricter than general good practice, that policy governs your use of SizaPoint for that institution's coursework.

8. Guidance for Responsible Use

• Use SizaPoint to brainstorm, outline, and get feedback — then write and revise in your own words.
• Treat AI Tutor explanations as a starting point for your own understanding, not a substitute for it.
• Disclose AI assistance where your institution or publication requires it.
